    The one time promising chaser Crozan was sold yesterday at Doncaster for the modst sum of 1,600gns.

    He was knocked down to someone named ‘O Crozan’ – is this a case of treating a racehorse like a personalised number plate?

    Is ‘O Crozan’ a name familiar to any of the point to point followers, as I presume that’s where Crozan will end up performing in future.

    Was there I had thought that he was unsold at 1600…perhaps bought outside the ring?

    There’s no owner, whether registered or P2P, with that name. Most probably a typo.
