The 16/1 Nathan Democracy Bus for the Coventry will be departing at 1:55pm
If he beats today’s fav Noche Magica the bus gets renamed the 6/1 or thereabouts Democracy Bus for the Coventry
if he gets smashed the bus may get re-rerouted elsewhere…

Nah; it’s a cunning plan so that the lads can lump on at huge prices when Moore chooses River Tiber in the race.
I’m not a fan of picking out one of the many potential Aidan O’Brien runners, let alone the unraced ones, but City of Troy keeps catching my attention. Has an entry in the railway stakes, and perhaps that might be the goal.
At this stage then, I’m definitely going to bet Sioux Warrior, assuming that he gets an entry. A shade disappointing so far, but I’ll dig my heels in with him and back him if he gets an entry
I’ve had a “Follow The Nathan”-sized bet on Democracy at 16/1 – the ante-post voucher currently attracting zero bets at a Buy It Now price of a farthing on e-bay – and somewhat more on River Tiber at 3/1 which, irritatingly, he still is.
I have ignored the clock-busting Ripon winner I could have had decent prices about immediately after he won so it will be a FML! moment if he wins.

EDIT – was asking about Coventry entries but I see no horse has them anyway.
I’m throwing money down the drain here and backing Warm Spell 25/1, runs in 5mins at Goodwood.
Far better IMO to back Warm Spell for today’s race then, if it wins, decide if you want to reinvest some or all of the profits next time out – gives you more control and could net out better than 25/1.
