I believe Albert Einstein was around 6-4 for this before he was withdrawn, but the horse he beat by 3/4 length in his last race, Power Blue, is still available at 25-1. I know people tend to gravitate towards as yet unbeaten juveniles in the hope that they might be on the next superstar but it doesn’t usually work out like that – Rashabar won this last year at 100-1.
I’m on PB and I’ll probably look to back another big-priced lad once the draw is known.Backed Military Code at 9-2 as form taken a boost with 2nd and 3rd winning next time, hopefully improvement to come stepping up to 6f.
Saver on Postmodern at 7/2 who could be anything but it was Yarmouth on debut, no offense.
And a little fun bet on Kolkata Knight at 33’s as his debut victory was boosted by the runner up next time.
