A win tomorrow night(wed) and Liverpool will qualify into the next round of the champions league, and with no premiership fixture until Monday i expect Rafa to field a strong side which could include the return of Gerrard from injury (however you can never quite second guess Mr Benitez)
Marseille have to win if they want to continue in the competition so i don’t think they will be ultra defensive so it should be an open game. Liverpool’s defence seem solid at the moment with three clean sheets in a row, so for me it’s a case of how many the reds will score.
Fernando Torres amazingly has not scored at Anfield this season, i haven’t checked that mind i heard Jeff Stelling say it on sports saturday, i don’t think he tell lies. that record cant last for too much longer surely, so I’m going for him to net the opener.

Sunderland have been having a bad time of things lately so much so that Roy Keane decided that he’s taken the club as far as he can. i think this match will go one of two ways. way1= Sunderland roll up their sleeves, fight for their lives, frustrate and survive or way2= continue their current form of shipping goals and that’s the option I’m taking for the simple reason Fergie will demand United take advantage of Liverpool and Chelsea’s previous results.

aswell as being a million miles out with the result, it was made worse with the late winner, being a Liverpool fan was quite happy at 0-0. double bummer
