Very sadly suffered a fatal injury when falling in the Gold Cup.
Just shows the highs and lows of racing in the same race – the same owner won the race with his other horse.
A really sad postscript to the race.

As with Springwell Bay, some of the national newspapers have picked up on it and expressing their horror. The same papers that run plenty of articles about celebrities being seen at Cheltenham and are happy to participate with bookmaker promotions, free bets etc.
