Quite sweet on Colonel Mustard for this. I decided against backing him antepost because I expected him to rock up in the County Hurdle. He’s not been declared for that. 25/1 EW.
I’m very pleased to see Lorna Fowler has booked the up and coming Tiernan Power Roache to ride Colonel Mustard. His 5lbs claim is basically a cheat code. This is now my biggest bet of the festival by some distance.

Even though hardly tried over hurdles at more than 2 miles Colonel Mustard was staying on strongly behind Lucky Place at Ascot over 2m 3 and looks worth a poke at 28-1 ew 6 for Hills currently!Always like to back a runner up on a previous year (missed out on Captain Guinness last year
