Early market……

First fancy for this is Myth Buster. The minute his race finished yesterday, I thought “Close Bros”, but he wasn’t quoted.
He is now though, and the opening 20’s looks more than fair.
No money down yet, but he tops the early shortlist.
It’s difficult to second guess the target for Dallas Des Pictons, but he’s possibly too big at 33’s.
Myth Buster 20’s
January 3, 2020 at 22:02 #1478870Johnbb is out tomorrow at Sandown, and I think he’s a really promising type.
I just think he’s the ideal type for this. He’s a big price at 40’s. I won’t be betting him for this, or tomorrow, but I thought he was worth a mention.
January 4, 2020 at 23:40 #1478977Least said about that the better, and I’ll not be adding Johnbb to the shortlist after that today.
January 13, 2020 at 16:30 #1479718Took some 25s about Hold The Note after his second on Saturday.
Would imagine he’ll be raised tomorrow to 138/9 and that should get him into this. Travels well, jumps and stays – looks tailor-made for this race. Connections won it with Mister Whitaker also as another small positive.January 20, 2020 at 23:43 #1480353Horrible rise for Hold The Note. Very unfortunate.
What do we think of Southfield Stone’s chances if appearing here? Strongly run race stepped up in trip would surely suit. His mark looks workable too.
January 21, 2020 at 14:52 #1480412I still expect to be with Myth Buster here, but with Galvin being allocated 142 for the weekend, I have to have a small early play.
On my radar for a year and a half now, so not wanting to miss the price. I’ll top up if I see bigger as well, but have to reign myself in a wee bit, as I still see potential in him for NH Chase, and I’ll be betting him there as well.
Galvin 20’s
January 26, 2020 at 23:38 #1480964With it being so much harder to cash out this season, I took advantage of being able to cash out here.
I’ll still go with Galvin, but I like him for NH Chase as well, so I’ll go back in here once the picture is clearer or I can get bigger than 12’s NRNB.
January 28, 2020 at 13:27 #1481094Didn’t notice your Galvin selection here Bobby, but after looking into him a fair bit last night the 20s here is definitely worth a bet!
Started off in the same Galway beginners chase as the yards horse for this a couple of years back in De Plotting Shed.
Davy Russells efforts on him after the last on his two runs since have been hands and heels to get placed but nothing more really. Ran well last year in the Ballymore to finish 6th and ran very well behind Getaway Trump (GT followed up in a handicap off 147) at Ayr and is rated 142 in the UK so will definitely get in with a nice mark.January 28, 2020 at 15:09 #1481115Yeah, I’ve been following him since Perth in the summer of 2018, and though disappointing that he didn’t quite get there last term, it hasn’t put me off.
I’ll have a fair bet on him whatever race he ends up in.
January 28, 2020 at 19:06 #1481147Id have Imperial Aura now, did anyone see the trainers comments after cheltenham, seemed very happy..ill also back Eric Le Rouge if he comes here
January 28, 2020 at 19:24 #1481150Just took the 20’s again on Galvin
(Had to as Gavin Lynch tipped it FFS)
February 18, 2020 at 17:31 #1483229With Galvin confirmed here, I’ve topped up at 12’s NRNB.
I think he’s got a real chance, and happy to have him on side, though I’ll definitely add another on the day.
February 20, 2020 at 23:16 #1483440Galvin has fell to the bottom of the list on Betfair, which is never a good sign.
Early Doors and At The Acorn jumping out too, but I’ll no be diving in.
March 1, 2020 at 00:14 #1484306De bromhead to do the business with this one again – put the kettle on – came over to chelt and passed the trial. Still 20s in one firm
March 1, 2020 at 15:05 #1484352I like Put the kettle on too Pointer, but would be careful of backing her without NRNB as I read that she is definitely going to the Arkle according to HDB.
March 2, 2020 at 00:26 #1484401Joined you guys, very impressive earlier in the season, and 16’s NRNB is fair.
March 2, 2020 at 18:28 #1484439I’d be very sweet on Pistol Whipped for this if I thought Mcgrath was riding and not De Boinville. Maybe it’s just me but can’t see how he’s No 1 at Seven Barrows, he really can’t judge a horse into a fence or a hurdle. Anyway, other than that, this horse has an engine, cane from well off the pace to win under McGrath. Fell st first under NDB then ran with the choke out against much higher rated rivals, but still ran with great credit. Should have a decent weight here 1st time in a handicap, strong run race, could be a great bet if lining up.
