Wait For The Will, by Seeking The Gold out of You’d Be Surprised. Owner Paul Mellon had written a will which gave a significant amount of his money to charity rather than to his family.

The older members will remember a very smart horse from the 70s named Muff Diver (seriously; I think Weatherbys changed their naming rules shortly afterwards).

Muff Diver was by Idiot’s Delight out of Deep Diver

    Betty Swollocks and Mary Hinge
Both trained by Julie Cecil who was a good trainer in her own right
When she split with Henry over Natalie and started training all the best and older lads went with her.

Muff Diver was by Idiot’s Delight out of Deep Diver

Slight technicality steeplechasing or did you do it on purpose ;-) by Deep Diver out of Idiots Delight.

I remember the Muff Diver, not top class but ran in a lot of quality sprints.

Deep Diver was a top sprinter of the early 70’s owned by philanthropist David Robinson and bought by a 24 year old John Magnier for 400 grand in 1972 as a stallion where he was a failure. What is the equivalent of 400 grand now?
Not sure who trained Idiots Delight, Balding seems to ring a bell.
