[code:18x1hbio]Corm can i change my name to "The Legendary Ante-Post King" now?[/code:18x1hbio]
I was worried that you might be thinking of elevating yourself to the status of a God.
January 30, 2010 at 17:29 #273053Highes hardly moved on Tidal Bay before the last watch the replay, he was cantering all the way to the last, the horse looked as if was really enjoying himself too
My wife who is no better than an average race rider asked three times between the top of the hill and the last "Isn’t it time the jockey tried to hustle Tidal Bay up a bit"
If a novice can see the jockey is taking it easy surely folk on here won’t be fooled by any spin from the jockey.
He was also baulked at least twice as he made groundJanuary 30, 2010 at 17:31 #273056[code:1t1v7nw8]Corm can i change my name to "The Legendary Ante-Post King" now?[/code:1t1v7nw8]

The "R"s fell out of it! "Legendary" will do fine! TLAPK,not sure it sits well! Wait till Somersby runs away with the Arkle!

"Flat out" weren’t my words, but those of his jockey!
Of course, I should’ve known there were better judges on here.January 30, 2010 at 17:33 #273059…if I recall Ruby had to really roust up Big Bucks coming into the straight at Newbury….selective memories??
I’m quickly coming round to the thinking that Tidal Bay has a really sound chance of beating Big Bucks, he was a far better (failed) chaser than Big Bucks

She say’s thanks as and asks that I pass on her Cheltenham banker to all…DENMAN
January 30, 2010 at 17:48 #273066I am having a bet on Denman in a Match with Kauto at 5/4!
January 30, 2010 at 17:52 #273067Why not just back him to win outright
January 30, 2010 at 21:10 #273102Well done Cheltenham Specialist and of course TLAPK! I didn’t dessert him (sorry Bosranic) and have been rewaqrded handsomely in a nice priced 3 winner Canadian that included Tidal Bay.
Tell you the 12-1 for the World Hurdle is way too big. He has class and seemed to enjoy himself no end. Yes strictly on form he is still a good few pounds shy of Big Bucks but he is far better on better ground and he obviously has a massive engine. Each way at 1/4 the odds is now my biggest ante post wager of all time! (Although its only £5 each way lol)
By the way TLAPK, will you be laying off to guarantee a profit or will you lay off to make it a free bet or will you just let it ride?
January 30, 2010 at 21:14 #273104Douginho, forgive my ignorance, but what is a Canadian?
January 30, 2010 at 21:22 #273107Someone who resides or originates in/from Canada?

Its a bet of 5 selections permed as follows:-
a Five Fold
5 Four Folds
10 Trebles
10 DoublesSo thats 26 bets. As many of the guys on here will know I like my permed bets as it gives chance of big wins from low stakes. Then again many punters seem to consider multiple betting as sacrilege, guaranteed to fail. Each to there own!

The winner did it well, but if a five length beating of Time For Rupert is World Hurdle Form then Rafael Benitez is the most gifted manager in football.

Look at Rafael Benitez form, bit like Tidal Bay! They are both capable of winning the big ones and on their way they may beat rubbish to get there! You stick to your All weather, thats about your level!

Because i have backed Imperial Commander at 35 to beat them both!Cheltenham is his course and he is a horse i like a lot, particularly at the price thm!
