Sadly a fatality at Cheltenham today – horrible fall. RIP
March 12, 2009 at 22:04 #215747Sorry to hear that; yes, it did look bad. Condolences to all connections..a long and sad journey home.
March 12, 2009 at 22:51 #215762I missed the fall but backed him today after watching many of his races on the attheraces website last night and I thought he was a horse of amazing potential (possibly not with the right trainer to be a horse of amazing potential) from his race footage.
A bloody shame…RIP Clarified…
March 12, 2009 at 23:46 #215791It did look bad. What an awful shame for connections, and wasn’t it a spare ride for Paul Townend? The ups and downs of NH racing………
March 13, 2009 at 01:08 #215817i thought he had gone when i saw him laid down

rip xxxxMarch 13, 2009 at 05:54 #215933The trainer really fancied him when interviewed before the first.
A horse with solid potential.
RIP, Clarified.
March 14, 2009 at 04:24 #216226Indeed I watched the C4 show again last night and tony martin was asked who he was most excited about yesterday and he said Clarified definitely, and said that the horse had a "big future, fingers crossed" which makes it all the worse. I hadnt really thought about it until then but Clarified was probably the best horse in the Martin yard, and it wasnt until seeing Martin interviews yesterday that I realised, I think Martin actually knew that aswell, and it must be a huge loss for the stable…RIP
March 16, 2009 at 13:09 #216751Can’t remember the actual fall myself.
Awful news.
RIP Clarified.
