They just don’t work as a concept for me.
I ate four Cadbury’s ones in November and I’m on December 6th with this Lindt one already this evening.

To quote Homer Simpson “ mmmmm, chocolate ”
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.December 2, 2021 at 15:13 #1570238I ate TEN last night – deplorable tbf.
Lindt too – I thought if I went posher than usual the fact it had set me back a tenner might rein me in.
No such luck.
Btw, must be my working class DNA, but Cadbury’s Milk Chicolate tastes far better than Lindt to me and is a fraction of the price.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"December 2, 2021 at 16:39 #1570258I got the Lindt lindor again this year and have just remembered what a con they are, there is no window for the 25th
Am sure when I were young the 25 window contained an extra special treat
December 2, 2021 at 19:13 #1570279I’ve actually now eaten the lot.
It’s quite possibly the most shameful thing I’ve ever done – and that’s some statement coming from me.

Don’t think you’re meant to have more than one advent calendar of any type?
Expensive way of buying chocolate.tbh bought one myself.
Only really because my brother’s wife Ali loves Peppa Pig even more than Boris… And it showed a Post Box in the centre (my girlfriend Shirley being a postie). Was going to post it to Ali but nah not worth it. we don’t do pressies, bah humbug! Actually no humbugs, just chocolates and having them myself…One a day isn’t too bad on my diabetes.
Value Is EverythingDecember 2, 2021 at 19:52 #1570292VERY expensive way of eating chocolate – that Lindt fiasco was the worst chocolate value I ever got for a tenner – like getting 7/4 a 7/1 chance!

Chocolate lego star wars calendars is surely the next logical advance in advent technology

Without me saying anything about this thread and unprompted…
Shirley has thrown the front cardboard cut outs away and is currently taking all the chocolates out of the tin foil to put in a tub… Where she can have them whenever she likes.Value Is EverythingDecember 3, 2021 at 18:02 #1570413

I can only imagine how wild the parties at your gaff, Gingernut
December 3, 2021 at 18:15 #1570415There are no parties here Tank.
Good luck to those who love that sort of thing but everyone enjoys different things.
We both love the quiet life, the countryside and our own company.Value Is EverythingDecember 3, 2021 at 18:23 #1570417
