Can’t see BEST TERMS getting beat and 2/1 is a good bet with Paddy Power.
September 21, 2011 at 18:27 #371586Yes, a reproduction of the York run should be good enough but she has already done the bookmakers a favour winning her last two at 11/1 and 12/1 – it wouldn’t be a total surprise if she completed the hat-trick.
I like Fire Lily and even dropping back in trip she should be in the three.
September 21, 2011 at 19:21 #371591Personally I think Best Terms might get beaten!!
If the ground is good to firm or possibly firm Shumoos at a best price 12’1 is a better bet only beaten a short headSeptember 23, 2011 at 18:35 #371779Personally I think Best Terms might get beaten!!
If the ground is good to firm or possibly firm Shumoos at a best price 12’1 is a better bet only beaten a short headUnless there is any significant doctoring the ground certainly looks as if it will be on the firm side so even at 8/1 Shumoos looks the value.
September 24, 2011 at 13:02 #371893Think Best Terms has by far the best chance of winning, but not (imo) as betting suggests. Hannon not quite in as good form as was the case. York favoured front runners and first two were practically first two throughout, distances (imo) flatter her. Although Newmarket this week has also favoured prominent runners and possible tactics might be advantageous today.
Sajwah
might take her on, but Richard Hills is unpredictable. 16/1 looks worth taking, improved with front-running tactics last time in a good quality Salisbury event. Drawn on the wrong side at Newmarket.
Lightning Pearl
supplemented and improving all the time. Five length winner of a Group 3 last time. Good third to the best filly around Maybe. Should track the front pair today. 7/2 is too big to ignore.
Shumoos
is my other main bet. Brian Meehan now in cracking form and could at last show what she promised early on. IF, quite a big if, she can settle. Plenty of speed and 8/1 far too big.
In the same mould as Shumoos,Angels Will Fall
is another much too free of late. Ignoring those runs she’d be a lot shorter. Impressive at Ascot and again IF settling could surprise a few at 22/1. Worth a saver.
Hello Glory did best of those held up when behind Best Terms at York. Deserves more credit than distances beaten show, but even so probably has too much to find.
Sunday Times has potential but has an awful lot to find. Miss Work Of Art seeems exposed and Lady Corageous not good enough.
Have backed Lightning Pearl, Shumoos and Sajwah with a saver on Angels Will Fall.Watch Best Terms scoot up now.
My 100% book:
Best Terms 13/8,Lightning Pearl 3/1, Shumoos 6/1, Sajwah 12/1, Angels Will Fall 16/1
, Hello Glory 16/1, Sunday Times 50/1, Miss Work Of Art 66/1, Lady Gorgeous 100/1.
