    Cleveland 15/2
Strikes me as the type that will either win easily or run terribly

By Camelot out of a Duke of marmalade mare he has plenty of stamina in his pedigree

A fascinating entry that I couldn’t not back

Byron Flyer 50/1 (might get bigger still).

Only beaten seven lengths in the Plate off 7lb higher last year, bumped into one over an inadequate 1m4f last time out in September, ok it’s 11 and hasn’t won on the Flat for four years, but it’s 50/1!

    And might get bigger!

I bet two in this ap last week.

I’m happy that I took 14-1 for Coltrane as he’s a lot shorter now, but I’m less happy with the 33-1 for Torcello, as I can get 40-1 now, and he looks as if he could could be a bigger price again come Friday

All very close but top rated on latest from I have TORCELLO and top rated on overall form I have MORPH SPEED. Few opportunities if any for the latter in Ireland over this trip, but won over 1m 6f at Killarney and trainer presumably hopeful over 2m 2f.

Seeing as my original bet at the 48-hour stage is a non runner….

The Grand Visit at 18-1 for me. I think that he can go close off of this mark

Mike since it’s shorter than 5-1 are you not better off just doing a cover bet?

Fair play to Moore. I am not always his biggest fan but that was some ride.

Little Franny trying to ruin the race on a no hoper putting the anchor on. Honestly don’t know why any serious punter would bet on Chester. Look at BOOSALA in the first beats them any day on a straight course

A serious punter would surely take the draw into account no?

A non serious punter who isn’t taking the draw and track into account should avoid Chester

Someone willing to put in the work has an edge at tricky tracks don’t they?

    Also

Great ride from Ryan once again this week

“Honestly don’t know why any serious punter would bet on Chester.”

But you put one up in this race on this thread?

I’d say serious punters would love a track where the draw can sometimes wipe out the chances of half the field before they even enter the paddock.

Agree ID but at the same time I think it is why the jumps is better. Too many horses are beaten on the Flat unfairly.
