So I just noticed this morning, that this horse (running in the Autumn stakes and owned by M Tabor, D Smith & Mrs J Magnier) is trained by John Gosden and not AOB.
Is that the first time? Does anyone have any background info on what the strategy is going forward for that ownership?
It’s going to be really weird too see Frankie in the Magnier silks, running for John Gosden!
October 11, 2019 at 10:06 #1465565They have had runners with other trainers before, Hourglass with M Botti and they had a J Quinn horse this year though with someone else.
October 11, 2019 at 13:25 #1465578Was Hurricane Run trained by Fabre owned by Tabor..? Hannon had Wentworth a while back too in the Magner colours.

October 11, 2019 at 16:05 #1465589I’m sure they have another 1 or 2 with JG too….
October 11, 2019 at 20:17 #1465618Stratification, Christophermarlowe, Night Fever. Sure there are more. I think Tabor in particular is always involved with the ‘Lads’ Gosden horses.
Perhaps it could be some clause in connection with Rachel Hood? I don’t know, that is pure speculation on my part.
I remember Noseda training an injury prone Coolmore colt that landed a monster Wokie gamble a few year back. Name escapes me.

October 12, 2019 at 15:05 #1465736Hurricane Run was bought by Coolmore following the Jockey Club iirc, who left him with Fabre.
Not sure they would do it now with Fabre’s Maktoum connections.
