I do like to have a decent bank available for that week.
However, due to the wheels of death (FOBT’s) that is rarely the case.
So I’m taking a month off from those evil tin cans and hope to have roughly £100 for each day.
Of course, early results will determine whether I spend more or less than £100 on the Tue etc.

February 17, 2008 at 18:57 #144230I will be attending the Festival on the Tues, Weds & Fri this year and have done this since it’s been a 4 day festival.
Surely you can’t be suggesting that they’ve spread the festival out so thinly that they can’t fill all the races with good horses! Shame on you. John McCririck feels he is personally responsible for a four day festival so it must be a good thing.
I’m a member there and basically it is an exercise in making as much money from the attending punters as possible.
Ah well let’s see how long it is before we have racing on the Saturday. Festival 1m 5f bumper anyone?
February 17, 2008 at 19:12 #144241I tend to go a bit mad and have a bigger bank…
February 17, 2008 at 19:17 #144243No betting bank and no hard and fast rules from me.
I play along as I see it – finances permitting of course.
