APPLE’S JADE 12/1 To win stayers hurdle
This morning look at market at a few bookies and hills had prices but not have this horse.I called them this morning to find out what price they give me.And now price and horse on there website.Way she won mares race suggest to me she is a strong stayer. So with Elliott saying she go over 3m next year i doubt it be a RSA they want to win.Be hard for any male horse give her weight and a beating next year she my main bet so far
There is no RSA prices yet but when they come out i be over CONSTATINE BAY unlucky in Albert Bartlett today looks a serious horse when seeing a fence next year. And looks to me going be some tool over fences.
Any bets guys or views on 2018
March 17, 2017 at 18:29 #1293158Anyone who got 20/1 Yorkhill Gold Cup, Altior Queen Mum 4/1 or 33/1 Labaik Champion Hurdle did very well
March 17, 2017 at 18:30 #1293159Good Luck Daz,
14/1 Yorkhill for the Gold Cup.
Blackbeard to conquer the World
March 17, 2017 at 18:31 #1293160I had £2.00 on Altior at 6/1 Zark.

March 17, 2017 at 18:32 #1293161Backed both Might Bite and Yorkhill at 14s for the Gold Cup; don’t think much explanation is required there!
Also Fayonagh at 16s for the Supreme Novices (I can’t understand how she’s the same price as Debuchet having given him a considerable start and still reeling him in comfortably on Wednesday); Buveur D’Air (5s) and Un De Sceaux (5s) to retain their crowns.
Waiting for a price about Penshill and Monalee for the RSA.
Got Fayonagh, Buveur, UDS and the two Gold Cup hopes in Lucky 15s.
March 17, 2017 at 18:40 #1293164I had £2.00 on Altior at 6/1 Zark.
That is what I call value.
March 18, 2017 at 13:20 #1293364I think that Thistlecrack would be unbeatable next year. Obviously in only one race: the Stayers.
No reason to believe he can win a Gold Cup. A very below par King George isn’t worth anything. Plus, why should he improve as an almost 10-year old?March 18, 2017 at 13:42 #1293369Agreed Ruby, Thistlecrack has shown enough chinks already this season to pass him over for next year’s GC following injury. I really don’t see Yorkhill as a gold cup type though, and to my eye Neon Wolf will need at least the intermediate trip over fences to excel.
March 18, 2017 at 15:02 #1293389Yeah no idea what price but Neon Wolf for the JLT would be of interest to me, but they could go Arkle or RSA route so it’s tricky.
March 18, 2017 at 15:03 #1293390But the Wolf will certainly go novice chasing it’s just working out which race, connections probably have their idea but w0u;dn’t be surprised at all if they still aren’t 100% sure which novice race to aim for.

Wylie won’t mind going the Ryanair route in his first non-novice year. There is still time to find out whether 3m2f suits him or not.
March 18, 2017 at 15:26 #1293394Not a bad shout Ruby, could be some real musical chairs with the Mullins chasers next season going to make ante post betting a nightmare as Willie’s hardly going to be giving us pointers!
Could drop UDS to the QM, Douvan up to the Gold Cup, Djakadam down to the Ryanair? Then NC doing Ryanair or Gold Cup. Or maybe Douvan up to the Ryanair? Or maybe keep Douvan at 2m and UDS in the Ryanair and go double handed in the Goldcup with Djakadam and NC? The possibilities are endless
No idea what’ll happen may have to leave these horses alone!
March 18, 2017 at 15:30 #1293395I’d imagine it’ll be Min, who looks an out-and-out two-miler, for the Champion Chase (if they even take on Altior at all); Un De Sceaux for the Ryanair, now that they’ve found that he can stay the trip on his head; Yorkhill for the Gold Cup.
I’ve left Douvan out of the equation for the time being, although I’d assume that he’d head to the Champion Chase or the Ryanair if he makes a full recovery.
March 18, 2017 at 15:45 #1293397Ah yes forgot about Min, a nice spanner in the works, would be tricky to imagine them racing Min against Douvan in the QM.
March 18, 2017 at 17:02 #1293432The possibilities were endless this year too, but some injuries limited the stables’ possibilities. Let’s face it: since we saw Vroom Vroom Mag running against Limini in the Mares Hurdle, why not have Douvan and Djakadam both in the Ryanair? As long as the trips suits and O’Leary doesn’t win “his” race, everything is perfect for Mullins/Ricci. I also think that UDS would have won the below par CC a lot easier than he won the Ryanair, so the return to 2 miles wouldn’t be the worst idea.
None of the Ricci horses is GC material, so why not going with Yorkhill for it?
And Min will most likely stick to 2 miles for the time being, but you never know who might be out next season.March 18, 2017 at 17:13 #1293435You may well be right with those predictions Ruby, but all it takes is one or two injuries and everything changes – part of what makes it so tricky betting antepost.
March 18, 2017 at 17:14 #1293437but definitely can see Yorkill Gold Cup, Min Champion Chase, the rest I don’t have a clue.
