I have a question?
People tell me that even when the word soft is used to describe Cheltenham going at the festival these days. Its cetainly not the same as the soft used to describe Leopardtown, Navan or Chepstow in December?
Is that true?

Must have dried out a bit as it has been cold at night before and much warmer now. There is rain forecast over the next few days and into next week but I dont know how much we will have so I will keep you up to date as good as I can. Very springlike today

March 8, 2009 at 03:12 #214251Another dry day up to now. Sunny AM and overcast PM with the wind picking up mid afternoon. That makes 4 dry days up to now. It is now very windy In afraid to say but will have helped dry it out.
It has just started spitting but hardly noticeable so far as the wind is very strong.

March 8, 2009 at 05:50 #214285update – started raining now – it will go into the ground i think as its steady. If you were stood outside you would get very wet (no I am not going to prove that)
getting heavier now – much more – will definatly go in as its beating on the window i knew it would rain – we have had that sort of year
