Added MATATA EW @ 18/1 2.10 tomorrow as the free William Hill bet. Not confident at all of JPR One – needed better ground – and I could easily see that form being reversed. The two negatives for Matata would be the likely burn-up on the front end, and the change of jock. Twiston-Davies has never ridden the horse before, and he usually manages to engineer a bungle. It appears Jacob has stuck two fingers to the British form because you would think Hunters Yarn needs to improve a good deal.

Got my tenner off State Man for their 1/1 offer, and a few quid off Mr Vango getting a distant third in the last. Hoping that Ballyburn does what’s expected in the first today. If he doesn’t it’s going to be a very long week.
