The very well managed Milnathort Racing Club (thanks Paul) in whom several of us TRF’ers are involved have The Village out tomorrow in his first run in a handicap (Perth 2.50).
We’re hoping Perth will suit him and the ground should suit too. He’s been given a fair starting mark but needs to start to progress a little. However, we’re hopeful that he’ll offer some more encouragement tomorrow on his journey to try and equal his illustrious co-owned, fellow Arlary stable inmate and multiple visitor to the winner’s enclosure, Outlaw Tom.
Again, we still have spare places in the club so if anyone wants more details PM me. Highly affordable and great fun, two horses with one of the north’s premier trainers and a great track record so far.

August 1, 2014 at 12:24 #487155He has us scratching our heads a bit after another pretty lacklustre run. He looks a million dollars (bto prize again) but just isn’t getting involved. Still young though, maybe just needs time, and we’ve still plenty options to try.
Owning horses eh…only thing worse is punting them.
