LIBRISA BREEZE 25/1
Former winner of this race and way he ran at weekend suggest form is back now when you think this race can cut up not been as busy if ground gets very soft just as he likes it for me every chance as long as ground goes really soft.
August 19, 2019 at 22:51 #1451421Same here Darren, took 33’s on Saturday.
Donjuan Triumphant also of interest at 40’s.
September 8, 2019 at 07:32 #1453148With it likely to be too soft for Advertise and Ten Sovereigns this looks so wide open now.
I’m interested in Sands of Mali at 25/1 to follow up from last year. I’ve not really been following the horse this year. Does anyone have any view on him/trainer comments etc?
Is he even being targeted again here?
September 8, 2019 at 10:56 #1453164No idea if Sands of Mali is being targeted here, but I’d agree that he looks a fair price at 25-1.
I really should just stick with Librisa Breeze, certainly Antepost, but I’m looking at another pair.
With Librisa taken out of Ayr, my main hope for that race is Donjuan Triumphant. I think if he ran well there, then it’s almost certain that he would take this in, considering how well he fared in it last year. Even before Ayr I’m tempted to have an early go at the 40’s, but it might just make sense to wait.
The other I like is Snazzy Jazzy, who’s also available at 40’s. I couldn’t touch him Antepost, as he’s so weather dependent, and though everything he’s done do far would suggest he’s short of this, a wet build up to the race would see me consider him.
September 8, 2019 at 11:02 #1453165Advertise should be ok as long as it’s not heavy surely
Was withdrawn due to a dirty scope not the ground wasnt he
And won the commonwealth cup on good to soft
September 8, 2019 at 18:47 #1453212Ah yes of course. Was thinking it was ground by mistake!

September 9, 2019 at 18:59 #1453265Great, thanks Kev
September 9, 2019 at 19:04 #1453267Ten Soverigns is in quarantine with Fairyland en route to Australia. He wont race again in the uk.
( Im assuming he wont be back as a 4yo, dpnt actually know though).
Cant believe they are still taking money off people in the antepost market for this at as short as 9/2 and Fairyland at 16/1 when they know full well thry will be 10,000 miles away. Shocking behvaiour.
September 9, 2019 at 22:27 #1453281Spot on Potato
and what’s more this globetrotting pair are trading at 13/2 and 25/1 for the Prix de L’AbbayeThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 11, 2019 at 10:26 #1453376Robert Winston has just announced his retirement, and I’m hoping that this isn’t too much of a negative for Librisa Breeze, as I had heard it mentioned that Librisa was one of the main reasons for him keeping going.
He didn’t ride him last time though, so I’m hoping nothing in it.
Still, tempts me even more for an early go on Donjuan, but I’ll hold off.
I also like Sands Of Mali the more I look at this, and he’s definitely on the backup list with Snazzy Jazzy.
September 12, 2019 at 11:16 #1453737Will one master run?
I’d have thought he would be going to france on arc day to defend last years win in the foret
September 29, 2019 at 18:11 #1463367I’m still hoping to see Shine So Bright here, but I’m also coming round to Sands of Mali, and I’ve bet him 25-1 ew.
He must have some sort of a chance on last year’s race, and that looks like a big price.
October 5, 2019 at 15:52 #1463854Cape Byron Won very well there at Ascot, and obviously the one to take out of it, but after being slowly away, I thought Donjuan Triumphant put in a very encouraging run, his best for a while. I’d be fairly confident that he’ll run here, and I could see him sneak a place again.
Donjuan Triumphant 40’s EW
October 14, 2019 at 16:44 #1467831Looking a cracking renewal based on the current decs. Andrea Atzeni did say after Cape Byron’s win at Ascot last weekend, that it could be his last race of the season, but he’s declared now for this and Atzeni is jocked up on the Racing Post already, so it looks like he’s running. 8/1 is an outstanding EW bet surely? 3 from 3 this season at Ascot and his overall form is not far off the best of these anyway.
Course specialist, acts on the ground and a repeat of his last run RPR of 118 and he’ll place, that’s all he’s got to do.
I was looking at him antipost last week, but after reading the comments that he might not run again this season I forgot about him. I’m shocked to see him still 8/1 after declaring. That’s an outstanding EW bet.
Cape Byron 8/1 EW
October 14, 2019 at 18:26 #1467841This looks the race of the day at the moment, and fairly happy with my pair.
I’m not that bothered about the ground for the pair of them, but I’d like to hear some positive reports for Librisa, for all I’m delighted to see him survive the Five Day Decs.
October 14, 2019 at 22:22 #1467881Hello Youmzain 5-1 ew. Everything in his favour.
