So John Dunlop has finally found a handicap he likes to run this Hesmonds Stud filly. Just to make things interesting he runs 2 and while this looks a very competitive race, she should leave her maiden form well behind. Running from a mark of 70 and a nice price, she is one I have been waiting for in a handicap since her debut in the spring.
September 8, 2012 at 12:48 #412407With John Dunlop in much better form now and horses handicapped on earlier form… You might have found a good bet there Eclipse. I saw (and backed) her at Newbury, big girl who seemed to have a markedly rounded action, so may not like today’s ground. However, the price means it may be worth taking a chance.
Good Luck EF!
Value Is EverythingSeptember 8, 2012 at 15:05 #412435Yes the ground is possibly not ideal, most of the family have shown their best form on a softer surface. However best form is not to be equated with a mark of 70, if she has ability (her debut run indicated she had some) then she could still be up to the task.
She is very much on the drift but I dont suppose she knows.
