I am at a loss to understand why Brighton and Lingfield both have flat meetings this afternoon.
The two tracks are around 30 miles apart.
So this will not only reduce crowds at both tracks it will affect trainers,,jockeys and bookmakers that are nomally seen at both courses.
I cannot see one positive reason why there are two meetings within such a close distance to each other being run at the same time.
Brighton are on the last of the 3 day meeting which so far has been very busy. No doubt today will have the lowest attendance due to a course closer to London racing today.
