Back to the original post, I think she might as well retire, as she will win sweet fa of note as long as they let that moron Davy Russell ride her. Decked her twice at Chelt last year. The man’s a complete liability!
Give us a break will you. Davy Russell has been one of the most underrated jockeys in both Ireland & UK over the last 5 years or so. He is also leading the jockeys championship over here.
February 4, 2008 at 15:03 #140122I watched a different race than you Kwai horse I saw was going backwards fast but this whole thing was started because the RP getting carried away with their 4/9.
Something had to finish third in the 3 horse race he ran in and you can’t take that form seriously. The winners done what he had to do and Kicking King wouldn’t be a shadow of his oldself at his best.
Look at the horse before that and his form was crap little wonder punters were happy to look elsewhere. PU and never looking like winning and 6/7 to Jazz messenger beaten almost 20 lengths is hardly inspiring.
I doubt the ground has much to do with the way the horse has been running. He’s just in very bad form at the moment.
Almost as bad as your judgement on jockeys…….it’s just as well experts involved in raicing for a living don’t think like you or the guy would never ride again……….killed a horse did he? geez that’s an awful thing to be saying from your armchair
February 4, 2008 at 16:03 #140137I am aware of that, but I dont think the Irish jockeys championship takes too much winning.
Yeah you’re right – most Irish jockeys don’t know one end of a horse from the other!
He was totally hopeless in the UK which is why Murphy got rid of him after only one season.
I didn’t think Murphy got rid of him because he was "hopeless"
He has a habit of getting it wrong at crucial times in races, as when he killed Rindoon.
I won’t dignify that with a response
February 4, 2008 at 16:36 #140146I must call Jonjo and tell him he’s employing an idiot
February 4, 2008 at 17:24 #140165i know i shouldn’t. but i’m PMSL
What, at your poor efforts at form studying?
Yes, me too!
February 4, 2008 at 17:53 #140176Well can’t all be expert form analysts like you Pegwell Bay, i’m afraid
February 4, 2008 at 18:00 #140178Davidbrady, the fact remains, Murphy got rid of him because he couldn’t cut it. And it was at a time when Murphy’s yard was going through a lean spell too.
As for winning the Irish title, I am not dissing Irish jockeys, just the standard of the one’s who stay at home. The best NH jocks riding are Irish, no question. Its a simple truth that the best ones, bar Walsh are over here. And considering Walsh spends most Saturdays and big race days in UK, Russell is only just about keeping ahead of him (and this with a long time on the sidelines fro Walsh through injury).
Geraghty doesn’t seem too bothered anymore. Carberry is well past his prime. Casey is also another who tried to make it in the UK but was no good, Andrew McNamara is next to useless and Denis O’Regan is now UK based. Real strength in depth there!
I stand by my Rindoon remark – Ruby had found the key to the horse, Russell sits on him, decks him and kills the horse. Cailin Alainn is lucky to be alive the way he decked her at Chelt twice.
I’m flabbergasted and I have never read so much shyte in one post in a long long time.
Andrew McNamara is next to useless……well you better tell Edward O’Grady that as he seems to think not, nor Mouse Morris and half the other trainers in Ireland the guy gets mounts from yonks of trainers. I watch Irish racing all the time and I have never seen him losse a race he should have won……he ridden 6 or 7 winners in the last month and was chosen to ride the best horse in Ireland in the AIG plus he was entrusted with the ride on Cloph in his first chase the other day.
As far as your man is concerned and this fookin sick statement of yours about how he killed Rindoon you are talking through a hole in your ass. Did you actually see the race? I wathced the race and he was putting the horse under any pressure whatsoever. He dropped his hands and settled the horse beautifully and he jumped the first two like and old pro…..he had him bang on for the 3rd fence and the horse put himself wrong at the very last moment and unfortunately paid the worst possible penalty. The jockey did absolutely nothing wrong and could have done nothing to prevent it………you should stick to plumbing or whatever it is you do as you obviously have no idea what your talkng about.
I am talking through experienece of having ridden racehorses for more years than I care to remember. What’s your end here? Fooking armchair jockey?
February 4, 2008 at 20:02 #140227What on earth are you on about he rode Mounthenry to five winns over hurdles and whe he was replaced the horse has been right out of form winning only once…..what the hell has he got to do with ruining the horse…….he made the friggin thing

BG = went to limerick boxing day giving up a few decent rides at leopardstown to ride Lunaos
PC = Past his Prime you say? not going to bother here
AM = Beef or Slamon catching The Listner in the Henessey
your post is funny?
February 5, 2008 at 16:35 #140406":1d851dd0]Andrew McNamara’s stats tell the story.[/b:1d851dd0] Picking out one race when he managed to capitalise on the even greater ineptitude of Daryl Jacob won’t convince me.
By Geraghty not bothered, you only have to look at where he is in the elague table these days – I wouldn;t be surprised to see him jack it in soon and go training as he already has the establishment I understand.
Paul Carberry is a showboater who gets it wrong on too many occasions on fancied animals for my liking.
I know he is a legend in Ireland, but the blind loyalty his fans show him ignore the fact that he is more into how he looks than getting the race won. Harchibald in the Champion Hurdle the arch example of this!
AM = his stats do tell story of champ chase in england & ireland melling chase a henessey to name but a few and considering he only really started 03/04 thats some achievment
BG = and you know he isint bothered how?
PC = it’s well know fact its Harchibald rather than him look back to x-mas hurdle this year with staw bear the horse doesnt like a fight….
still funny
February 6, 2008 at 09:51 #140547How do you deduce a jockey with a 9% strike rate in an overall weak looking championship is good? Willie Ryan won a Derby, Andrew Thornton a Gold Cup – are they top class jockeys too in your estimation?
Geraghty doesn’t seem to be interested in taking higher order in the riding ranks in Ireland these days – he is not chasing rides and has no interest in the title – if he was I imagine he would be champion.
There is no evidence that Harchibald is the "offender" – Carberry clearly obsesses about holding onto the horse too long in a race instead of trying to win a race earlier on him.
Put McCoy on Harchobald and you would see a different horse.
you said AM was Useless look at his record and seeing he only started really 03/04 it’s a great record for an up and coming Jockey….
how do you no Geraghty is not chasing rides? look at irish cards over the season you will find his name on most days he can ride do you know his agent? i do and he would never come out with a comment like "he’s not intrested" you have just made this up cause he prob lost you money
so you know better than PC & his Trainer NM??
it seems you made a post (with no substance i might add) and to make your post seem valid threw in a few comments that are total rubbish to make your post seem you know what your talking about.
butt still funny
