We’ve lost one of the best timber horses of all time. 17.1 hands, gorgeous fleabitten gray, he truly loved his job.
It’s telling that so many tributes have popped up online for him. That’s rare for an American jumps horse.

Sad, but I was glad to realise that we are talking about a horse with a long and happy retirement behind him, not another beautiful and talented youngster with it all before him.
