Her two winners were 8-1 (for her retainer) and 26-1 respectively – hopefully she will be able to come over for Cheltenham and pick up some rides.
February 15, 2026 at 00:02 #1754797In some ways it’s a shame that Frost was not the first female jockey to ride the National winner. She’s a strong communicator with the media and seemed popular with the public even before the bullying case. I suspect she would have helped engender more long-term interest in the sport than Rachael Blackmore.
This is in no way a criticism of Blackmore who is a consummate professional and brilliant jockey, and who thoroughly deserved her success. But I do not think she was at ease in the limelight that the National victory brought.
February 15, 2026 at 07:28 #1754803I agree, shame that the establishment closed ranks against her.
I wish her all the best in her career and hope to see her at Cheltenham.I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysFebruary 15, 2026 at 07:58 #1754805I’d love a decent trainer to take a chance on her and get her back to Britain. I enjoyed watching her ride and always thought she was great in interviews. Maybe i’m a sucker for over romantics in the game as i also love listening to Hendo and think he’ll be a huge miss when gone.
There was a time when i thought she had a case for stable No1 at Nicholls on merit. Thought she outrode Cobden on occasion. She isnt better than cobden, he is far more versatile but i do think she’s a great watch with a good chaser.
February 15, 2026 at 08:08 #1754807She was my idea of a real life ‘National Velvet’ (one of my favourite books) and I dearly wanted her to win the National. I miss seeing her ride over here.

Why would she want to? I doubt she would be on anything with much of a chance and the likelihood is she would receive a (no pun intended) frosty reception from some people.
She is racing for far better prize money in France and seems happy in her professional and personal life. She doesn’t really need to ride an outsider or two at Cheltenham.
February 19, 2026 at 21:56 #1755254She’s just got engaged!
February 19, 2026 at 22:02 #1755255Hopefully not to Robert Dunne.
February 19, 2026 at 22:10 #1755256To fellow jockey Baptiste Le Clerc:

I wonder if he is any relation?
February 19, 2026 at 23:22 #1755259CAS – Not sure what her riding options would be in France during Cheltenham week, are there any big meetings at that time that would keep her over there?
So if she doesn’t have any committments over there then why not come over and make herself available, she can also catch up with family/friends at the same time too………heaven forbid that any jockey gets injured but the odds of it happening at the Festival must be increased due to the competitive nature of the racing and you can’t take advantage of anyones misfortune if you are not there in the first place.
Not sure how many runners the double green will be having at the meeting either so maybe they might want her over here as a standby
February 21, 2026 at 13:40 #1755634Double again today. Lower key races bug first ride was very good.
Cliched but horses do jump for her.
