Nominations for Broadcaster of the Year 2012 on this thread.
December 11, 2012 at 21:02 #422456Nick Luck.
December 11, 2012 at 21:47 #422474It’s got to be Clare Balding, who is head and shoulders above anyone else on any of the channels, not least for her sheer professionalism and versatility, made even more apparent by her widely-praised coverage of the Olympics and Paralympics.
Admitted over-exposure since then should not detract from her achievements this year.
Alastair Down might be a late contender, judged by his solo presenting performances in recent weeks for Channel 4.

December 14, 2012 at 22:31 #422945The Cat – unbelievable he has been dropped by C4
December 14, 2012 at 22:41 #422949For me – for the way he dealt with both his health problem and the Channel 4 ‘thing’ – it’s Thommo.
December 15, 2012 at 02:51 #422971I’ll nominate a certain Jimmy Duggan for his valiant efforts in covering Cheltenham, Aintree, and Saratoga steeplechasing for TVG and for putting up with the clueless TVG hosts.
Also because Jack Fisher jokingly asked him to ride for him next season and he took him up on the offer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEKEqtgGvao
December 16, 2012 at 23:33 #423253It’s not a proper list without Matt Chapman.
