Always a decent race this, and looks like this year’s will be no exception….

I’ll certainly go with a couple here, and both Johan and Ayr Harbour make plenty of appeal, but first choice will be Overwrite. He really caught the eye last week, and I’m expecting some progression.

Seems relatively unfancied, and needs one to come out, but I’ll take some at 33’s, just in case, but hopefully get bigger.

    Overwrite 33’s

This race is always difficult but it looks like a minefield this year with so many unexposed horses. You could probably have six attempts and still not find the winner.

I will probably back something but it will be to small stakes. Rather than drive myself mad, it might just pay to keep it simple and back the Gosden/Dettori runner each way.

Although the draw could have been kinder I’m going with starcat , hopefully will have learned plenty at Newmarket and there,s seems to be pockets of money about for him

He’s A Keeper ew 50/1 6 places for me. Draws not ideal but a low draw has won twice in the last 8 years so it can be overcome. Last 3 winners won off 90,90,92 so although track position isn’t ideal his position in the handicap is. He was given a nice easy intro behind St James Palace fancied horse Palace Pier at Newcastle when 4th getting 5lb not given a hard time at the end.
Could be an interesting runner here and if he can defy the draw then he will be thereabouts. Looks worth the risk at the odds.

I really think Khaloosy stands out in this. He’s a beautufully bred colt by Dubawi who
is open to any amount of improvement. He’s a striking looking grey who left the field
for dead under a hand and heels ride by Jack Mitchell at Wolverhampton. He won by over
4L, but it could have been double that if he chose to. I nabbed the 9/1 earlier when
I posted my Royal Ascot competition selections bright n early. He’s still available at
    8/1 and I think that’s great value.

Overwrite got into 6th which was enough on Skybet, but there was very long delay. Not sure why. As usual the force is with you.

    Well done Graham.

Cheers Sungold, got the 40’s with Skybet, so those six places made a big difference.
