I’m not a huge fan of Bradley but are the BHA being consistent here ? I will be interested in what comes out.
Rock On ruby trained by Paul Nicholls or was it Harry Fry ?
Bradley warned off for giving tips for money, other jockeys allowed to go on Morning Line and work for bookies etc.
July 3, 2014 at 13:27 #484573If the BHA spent as much of their resource and time on catching other offenders as on their witch hunt to stop Brad plying his trade, then the sport would be a lot cleaner for sure.

Harry Fry supposedly had at least some supervision/advice from Nicholls. If Bradley was totally left to do what he pleased then he was the trainer and not (as he should be) assistant trainer. The fact Brad was warned off (imo) means the BHA should be more concerned with him than Fry.
I wouldn’t want to see Brad training horses given his record.

Brad isn’t/wasn’t warned off and had not been for a good few years.
July 3, 2014 at 16:38 #484585What are the BHA doing about the Dwyer/Mulrennan phone call?
July 3, 2014 at 21:19 #484611I have to say that I have backed some of Powell’s horses and I had have known that Bradley had been involved then I would not have done so because in my eyes he is not good for the sport and he should be banned for life IMO

Eh?!

Brad
"was"
warned off for eight years Shack.
Brad is nownot
warned off; because he’s served his time.
But he’s still not allowed to train in his own right; only as an assistant. And whether someone’s done their time or not I still wouldn’t put an ex-peadophile in charge of children or an ex-warned off person in charge of racehorses. It’s putting temptation in his way. Hardly the same as letting Harry Fry (someone – to my knowledge – with an unblemished recoord) virtually train Rock on Ruby; which was my point.Value Is EverythingJuly 4, 2014 at 08:11 #484633Ginger,
Brad, Brad, Brad

May I suggest you edit your posts and insert Bradley, or preferably Arsehole, instead
July 4, 2014 at 09:09 #484638Funny business this ….its all seems a bit like a racing novel !!1
The big question is why ???
Why would an established trainer , risk being banned for the allegations made
of course there may well be an answer , but it sure looks a bit fishy !!!
imo

July 4, 2014 at 14:46 #484663Bradley’s application to train has been dragged out by the BHA for ages.
Compare and contrast with Al Zarooni conveniently being run out of racing in 72 hrs after he was deemed to have acted alone and leaving lots of unanswered questions.July 4, 2014 at 20:13 #484683Bradley’s application to train has been dragged out by the BHA for ages.

But did say the reason was they were looking in to something that may affect the decision which would become clear in time/soon. I guess this is it.
