Are we having a Breeders Cup Competition this year??
October 30, 2023 at 21:58 #1668633Hope so. Love this meeting. Been watching preview shows to get up to speed with the American dirt horses. Pete fornatale from at the races has got the in the money podcast which usually tips a couple of double digit winners.
October 30, 2023 at 23:13 #1668637Raymo I know how much work you and Mrs Raymo do running the competitions, I
was always on the bench for you, so I’ll step in and set it up tonight or
tomorrow at the latestOctober 31, 2023 at 01:59 #1668648Welcome to TRF BREEDERS CUP Competition
Comp runs on the 3rd and 4th November
Rules
Please select 2 horses per race (plus as many reserves as you like)
NO NAPS. Instead you will have one power play per day (total 2) 1 Friday + 1 Saturday
The power play will be used for two races of your choice per day but the races have to
be one after another so for example you pick race 1 you have to have race 2 as well. if
you chose race 4 you have to have race 5 aswell.Power Plays score double the points for each horse in each position that is available for
points. So an 8/1 2nd will score 26 points if pick in a power play.I hope I have explained that well enough
please make clear which races you want as power plays but remember they must be next to each other
no edits, please make another post
late entries will lose 10% of pointsSELECTIONS

October 31, 2023 at 10:44 #1668667Thanks for stepping up to do this Graham…I really love this comp.
However, my ‘to do’ list has just gone manic now as I am away at Newmarket Friday and Saturday so need to sort out 16 races there, Bobby’s TTF to find 10 NH horses and your Tote TTF the same, The Daylight Cup, Neil’s Handicap comp and finally my Select 3 Horses…thankfully Hot Fuss is coming back to score that for me on Sunday…life saver.See you at the Breeders Cup on Friday and thanks again Graham.. Jac.
