I sometimes think it’s better to know straight away that there’s no chance of a good outcome, when the horses is high on adrenaline from the race. Just awful for the trainer who’s having a torrid time and the stable staff who were having to deal with it without him. My thoughts go out to all of them. RIP

@greenasgrass the trainers mother died the day before and he wasn’t at the races yesterday.
