I like Nichola Sturgeon and to describe her as a nasty little freak is uncalled for.

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysMay 28, 2022 at 18:40 #1599620Clive I hadn’t intended further replying to you, but I’d advise removing the remarks
about Alex Salmond who has been through the legal process and found not guilty of
any crime. There are laws in place on the internet covering such comments. Up to
yourself Clive.May 28, 2022 at 19:12 #1599625I like Nicola Sturgeon, too. We always listened to her covid briefings because unlike Johnson et al, we could understand what she was talking about. I still don’t want Scottish independence, though, although I now understand why they might want it. I just want the whole of the Union to work together to create a better place for everyone.

May 28, 2022 at 19:33 #1599628Moe, people give Nicola a hard time, she gets a lot of abuse but generally not from
the Scots who, in general, think she is doing a decent job. It comes down to who
you trust to keep your community and kids safe and taken care of and who you believe
to be trustworthy. I’m not saying mistakes haven’t been made, that’s always going to
be the way, but if you’re asking me if I’d want Nicola Sturgeon or Boris holding the
reins, I’d take Nicola every time.May 28, 2022 at 19:43 #1599630I tried to point out a legal point to you Clive, which I’m aware of, for
your own good. I’ve done my bit because it was the right thing to do. It
would have been easier to stay schtum because I pretty much expected your
response. I’m done now, best of luck.May 28, 2022 at 19:56 #1599631May 28, 2022 at 19:59 #1599632Nicola even had signing at her briefings which we didn’t have.Only a little thing but I was impressed by that. Then of course ( as a Runrig fan) the SNP also have Peter Wishart!
May 29, 2022 at 09:59 #1599663Now that’s handy. The Government published a revised outline for it’s ministerial code
on Friday. The updated policy, released by the Cabinet Office, said that ministers who
are found to have breached the rules should not “automatically” be expected to resign.Make a balls-up, change the rules, simples
May 29, 2022 at 10:37 #1599667Anyone thinking Nicola is doing a decent job needs to have a read up on the Edinburgh children hospital debacle and the Calmac ferry fiasco , public money thrown down the toilet because proper protocol for the tenders werent followed ….but hey not Nicholas fault , she already pushed forward suitable fall guys …. Also have a look the issues in her own constituency , in 11 years the drugs death rate in Scotland is now the worst in Europe ….her constituency being one of the worst
May 29, 2022 at 10:40 #1599669PS it’s fair to say if Boris was found in a locked room standing over a corpse with a smoking gun he still would plead innocence and not resign ….welcome to Great Britain 2022 …and people are still paddling over the channel in dingys trying to get here
May 29, 2022 at 10:52 #1599673Its worth pointing out to my fellow English ladies and gentleman that not everyone by any means in Scotland is an SNP-voting Nicola Sturgeon fan.
And those that aren’t must find such erroneous assumptions as galling as I do when tourists – usually overweight Americans in disturbing shorts – assume that because I’m English I must be a Conservative-voting fan of the Royal Family and avid reader of The Daily Mail.
Nicola Sturgeon is (marginally?) less of a liability than Boris Johnson – she only seems relatively good compared with the ammoral oaf we have in No 10.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"May 29, 2022 at 11:08 #1599677Lol Ian saying she’s only marginally less of a liability than Boris is akin to saying getting Marburg is slightly better than getting Ebola …..id rather have neither , on the positive I’m looking forward to celebrating them both going akin to the night i cheered Portillo losing his seat …I doubt Boris will get a programme sitting about on trains though
May 29, 2022 at 13:23 #1599687We’re a railway family and I still don’t understand how people on his train programmes welcome Portillo with open arms given that he was in a government that hated the railways. If I was one of them I’d tell him where to go.
May 29, 2022 at 13:27 #1599688I’d go further – I’m a human being and I don’t understand how people who are also human beings can welcome Portillo with open arms.

May 29, 2022 at 14:44 #1599706Now Boris wants us to go back to buying things by the pound ffs!
