It was a good day for me on Saturday which led to an even better night out so I stumbled into a well known Bookmaker at around 3.15 to have a bet on something in the Arc.
There I am reading the form in which I decide to write out £10 each-way on Meandre at 20/1, so I proceed to the desk to hand over the slip in which I am told this is a restricted race and I can only have £5 each-way, to my amusement I took the "restricted offer" then walked off but to make it even funnier, after watching the race an older gentlemen come up and had £25 win on a horse at Kelso.
I will be writing an official letter of complaint later this week with the receipt that has the changed values and I will be expecting some form of apology or reason as to why I wasn’t allowed £10 each-way.

Absolute disgusting John!
There’s no customer service on a FOBT whereby people who have genuine gambling problems are allowed to lose as much as possible on those things, in fact they could do with someone saying "Message from above tells me you can only spend £10 of your £20".
I am so disappointed with today, usually I have no problems with bookmakers as I rarely go in them because they are dangerous places around here and I don’t feel safe in that environment so I usually know what horse I’m backing before I go to speed up the process.
What happened today just made me sad, I felt mistreated and in some respects targeted or singled out in way.
