February 9, 2021 at 16:50 #1522347Both ANNA NERIUM and BILLESDON BROOK have retired, couldn’t see anything in the search about them and thought both deserve a mention
Charles Darwin to conquer the World
February 10, 2021 at 18:12 #1522506Yorkhill retired after picking up a small injury that would keep him out for a year.
Gutted. Was so looking forward to seeing his next run after the Rehearsal win.
February 10, 2021 at 19:52 #1522520Gutted but at least he goes out a winner , going to Cheltenham for his retirement , hope its long and enjoyable
February 10, 2021 at 19:55 #1522521Was entered for Grand National as well, but the horse’s welfare comes first. Hope he enjoys his retirement.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 14, 2021 at 11:55 #1523013I do hope so Tryptych today of all days, and there’s nothing better to make man or beast happy than gambolling about in an empty green field.
For all the horses old and new
February 27, 2021 at 20:35 #1525711Black Corton retiring and going to live out his days with his jockey.
Was a spectacular horse at his best.
Happy retirement BC.
February 27, 2021 at 20:46 #1525712I hadn’t realised how many races Bryony had won on him till I looked up his race record just now. He’ll be spoiled rotten.
March 2, 2021 at 10:07 #1526496Happy retirement to Thistlecrack. The announcement is almost lost amidst the Elliott scandal so it’s nice to have some relatively positive news
March 2, 2021 at 10:18 #1526501Great news and there are so lovely posts on Twitter as well.
Here is one of them by Tom Scudamore:

March 2, 2021 at 10:38 #1526508I hope Thistlecrack has a long and happy retirement. I will never forget how impressive he was when he won the Stayers Hurdle.
He looked like he had the world at his feet when he won the King George as a novice. It was a pity his career was blighted by injuries afterwards.
March 3, 2021 at 01:29 #1526852Happy retirement to dear
Thistlecrack
and also to
Walk In The Mill and Black Corton
Anna Nerium & Billesdon Brook
