Fatally injured in the 6:15 at Galway today. A 12 year old without a race since November 2013 and a winner of the Galway Plate 2012. Didn`t owe anyone a thing and yet another fatality for THAT owner.
Just let me ask something: Why do such things always happen to almost the same people? Probably because they just don`t know the right time to call it a day.
    Very sad for the horse.

Very sad indeed. But JP is always going to have more fatalities as he has the most horses in training. In percentage terms he will have similar to any other owner.

Yeah, a bit out of line again there I think Ruby.

Bob Lingo still had plenty left to offer as a racehorse and often did well at Galway, so it is very unfortunate that he got injured.

    RIP

RIP old warrior, What a shame the old man was not redeployed into a career less demanding.
