Race Times & Race Planning Executive
£Competive LondonWith 361 racing days a year and 1490 fixtures our Racing Department has a huge responsibility to ensure maximum benefit to the sport – here is your opportunity to be involved.
With immaculate attention to detail, you will manage the coordination of all race times across the UK, ensuring optimal intervals and avoiding any race clashes. Using your excellent communication skills you will provide advice on race times to all necessary parties, including racecourses, broadcasters and internal staff.
Other duties will include providing administrative support to two of racing based committees within the organisation, specifically the Racing Committee and the Jump Racing Sub Committee. You will also use your ability to manage a high volume of work, you will be relied upon to research and provide accurate data to other members of the team.
Statistics and figures for the Director of Racing and the Board on areas such as, ownership, horses in training, attendances and prize money breakdown, will fall to you and your analytical nature.
Previous experience of working in a busy environment and experience/knowledge of horseracing is desirable, however strong organisational, interpersonal and communicational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively are a must. You will need to be a highly competent user of MS Office packages and be able to work with a minimum of supervision.

The interesting part is

… and especially the word advice, implying there will be no authority to actually dictate changes.
Could be wrong but it looks to me like a relatively junior post.
