This week’s #BettingPeople interview is with professional punter Mark Holder, some older members may remember Mark’s father trained some good horses including a Triumph Hurdle winner. Mark was more interested in punting, learning from two very shrewd men. He did a brief stint working for legendary on-course layer Stephen Little then set up his own tipping line, at first on an 0898 premium rate number, then to subscribers only. You may remember his full page adverts in the racing press. Well, they were genuine, he’s still a full time professional punter 30 years on. December 19, 2019 at 21:57 #1477584Another excellent interviewee Simon.
I’d encourage anyone seriously interested in developing their betting to watch this and many of the others in Simon’s series, there are some golden nuggets there. Waiting for YOU to find them.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 23, 2019 at 08:10 #1477890Thanks for the kind comments, we’ll get as many pro-punters as we can, but so many are camera shy.
December 23, 2019 at 11:42 #1477896Simon,
An another interesting addition to the portfolio. Marvellous
stuff. An interesting racing character for me would be Marten Julian. I don`t know if he has been considered/approached.
December 23, 2019 at 13:23 #1477902I love watching betting people
December 23, 2019 at 17:09 #1477915Love this series Simon, always look forward to the next one.
One small bit of constructive input….Would prefer it if you spent more time covering the present with the pro punters, too much time devoted to the back-story imo.
