However, you have to doubt the worth of these figures when they show Braveheart steamers winning backers a bundle while his drifters lead you to the poor house. He’s always trying so it doesn’t matter what the market says, surely?

See Trends for Evans, Glenn. "Always trying’s" figures confirm what I see on the exchanges most days. "They" always seems to know when it comes to Middleham’s finest.
Which tells you that those in with a good chance of winning are well backed. It doesn’t say that the others aren’t trying.
