July 30, 2009 at 02:23 #241706Lewey , you could be on to something (I have been on it sice April )

July 30, 2009 at 02:34 #241710Extremely interesting stats; cheers Cav.
July 30, 2009 at 02:57 #241717Excellent work, CR, and valuable stats. Makes for very interesting reading.
It’s too much to ask or wish, but I would love to see a similar work-up for the ten top NH trainers.
July 30, 2009 at 13:24 #241756Cav , for very interesting reading try G Butler and Hayley Turner , particularily on the aw
you will be amazed

July 30, 2009 at 13:55 #241762Rather than clog up the main board with stats I’ll put a more complete analysis (as a one off) in Trends, Research and Notebooks over the next day or two.
Very interesting…..
July 30, 2009 at 15:31 #241786Good stuff Cav.
However, you have to doubt the worth of these figures when they show Braveheart steamers winning backers a bundle while his drifters lead you to the poor house. He’s always trying so it doesn’t matter what the market says, surely?
Any figures on my old mate Richard Evans?
July 30, 2009 at 15:39 #241788See Trends for Evans, Glenn. "Always trying’s" figures confirm what I see on the exchanges most days. "They" always seems to know when it comes to Middleham’s finest.
July 30, 2009 at 15:58 #241789Which tells you that those in with a good chance of winning are well backed. It doesn’t say that the others aren’t trying.
July 30, 2009 at 16:24 #241792See Trends for Evans, Glenn..
A 60% loss backing into a circa 103% book. Ouch!
…and that’s at SP after they’ve drifted!
July 30, 2009 at 19:56 #241818For comparison could you put up the figures for each trainer for all runners irrespective of their odds at 10 minutes before the off?
All the Best
Kevin
