By that reckoning Reet, was Aces Four outclassed or outstayed in the Charlie Hall?

As I recall DJ, Ferdie M went as far out of his way to make it clear that Aces Four needed the race as Alan K did to assure us that MWDS didn’t.

    Agree with Reet here,

The difference between how fit Ace Four was and how fit MWDS was – IF WE BELIEVE’D THE TRAINERS prior to the race, couldn’t be bigger.

Alan King was asked 2 minutes before the race on Saturday how fit MWDS was in terms of percentage. King said he was in the 90’s, whereas Ferdy couldn’t have been more confident that his horse would need the run.

King also said that regardless of fitness, if MWDS had any aspirations of winning a King George or Gold Cup, he would need to go close and that fitness would not be an excuse. So quite a U-turn after the race to say what he said about the horse not being as fit as he thought it was.

I learned a long time ago that the man to listen to is the Jockey….trainers that don’t listen to their Jockeys couldn’t tip their hat……Jockey says he didn’t stay I wouldn’t bet him with stolen money.

    Me too.

Especially when Kieron Fallon said that the ground would be too much for Dylan Thomas at Longchamp for L’Arc and that he would rather be on Soldier of Fortune.

Yes but would you buy a car off Keiron Fallon
