    Conditions were perfect for Bristol. If only I had held my nerve – but I cashed out when Clan starting creeping quietly into it. Stupid of me – he was never going to get home in that ground.

    That was a heartwarming victory for Bristol De Mai. Nothing better than watching a brave and bold front-runner grind the opposition into submission :heart:

    Today proves Lostintranslation isn’t a true stayer for me, for all that Tizzard has his string badly undercooked. On the flip-side it might mean Tiz has a better Cheltenham this year, though it would he hard to have a worse one with the horses at his disposal.

    It was the ground not the trip

    He was beaten far too soon for it to be stamina

    Hes run on heavy ground 3 times now and run poorly each time
