Good news from Betdaq today. Two percent commission, flat rate all markets. Fair play to them.
January 27, 2018 at 11:26 #1339342I don’t think I can play on the ‘daq myself as it’s part of the LadbrokesCoral group but I was surprised to see some decent early morning liquidity when I checked it out recently. Not sure if they’re seeding it or whether that is all genuine business but you could get £50+ at the price on most horses in the morning, even low grade. Compare to the pennies on Betfair at the same time.
Similar comments apply to Smarkets and Matchbook – better liquidity than Betfair in the morning and much more competitive on the commission.
February 9, 2018 at 09:14 #1341353Matchbook are now offering O% commission on all horseracing from today until March 19th, which takes in the festival (March 13th-16th).
More great news for punters. Nice one Matchbook.

February 13, 2018 at 15:57 #1342047Alright chaps,
Which exchanges have you found to be most competitive? Also, which bookmakers have you found to be most competitive for racing? Also, have you found the lesser exchanges to have as much liquidity as the likes of betfair exchange?
Cheers,
Sassoon

Competitive in terms of commission or what?
On bookmakers, i am not sure, i just check oddschecker for the individual race.
Lesser exchanges have much less liquidity than Betfair, so it really depends on what you want to get matched as to the importance of that. If it’s a tenner, you should be fine, if its a grand maybe not.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 14, 2018 at 14:26 #1342178Hiya Jack,
Hope you’re well pal. Yeah in terms of commission and just general competitiveness with their odds.
Good shout on OC – definitely a great tool for loads of different sports!
When you say much less liquidity how much less on average do you reckon from your experiences? And of the times you’re having a bet and have used OC to find the best odds which sites have cropped up as being strong on a regular basis for you?
Cheers,
Sassy
February 14, 2018 at 21:57 #1342265Matchbook and Betdaq are trying to be very competitive commission-wise, Matchbooks 0% horse racing commission upto and after Cheltenham is a good offer. Just a pity they don’t accept Paypal or Mastercard!
On the less liquidity i was just checking this Saturday past, and it seemed quite a bit, talking hundreds of thousands less of £ in the racing markets (matchbook) but then its a newer exchange.
Not the easiest to pin down the best bookie site price-wise…365 often is decent…i do like betting on exchanges when there’s a bigger win part of the best especially.

Nice one Ladbrokes

Although its UK shops only, so as usual us poor neglected paddies, riddled with the cold and damp get nothing.
April 27, 2018 at 18:14 #1352214Matchbook have extended commission free horse racing until June 30th.
Nice one Matchbook.
