There are 9 runners in this before the final declaration stage. The sponsors are the only ones betting on it and At Fisher’s Cross is 10/11 with them.
I think it’s worth taking a chance now, while 3 places remain available, on Trustan Times EW at 6/1. He’s jocked up and, by the look of things, an intended runner.
He’s not up to the class of the favourite but he might catch AFC a bit ring rusty. If not, he should be placed. He’s never been out of the first 3 going left-handed. He’s 2 from 4 at the track (2nd on other 2 runs) and, perhaps most importantly, he’s unbeaten on seasonal debut – 3 from 3. His trainer is in fine form and the horse is game and consistent with a Topspeed figure 4 points higher than that of the favourite.
