This has been on my mind lately. I always feel a great horse should have a great name; Golden Miller, Mill House, Prince Regent, Easter Hero, Flyingbolt etc. Which then got me thinking of which horse I want to win at Cheltenham purely because of it’s name; the winner being [imo] Neon Wolf. I’ve also spent 2 days trying to remember the name of a good horse of recent years that had [again imo] an awful name; thankfully, on the journey back from Northumberland it came to me, albeit not being a Cheltenham winner; it was [of course] Loosen My Load. I now almost wish I hadn’t remembered it. So I wondered which horse should be a winner this year on name alone. I’ve just spent two weeks in the wilds of Northumberland and the mind does start to play tricks on one after a while#thatsmyexcuseanyway
