I have spent the last few weeks reading stable interviews and assessing horses potential for the coming season.
I have come up with a list of 6 Horses, who WONT appear on many other peoples list of horses to see, these are almost all thoroughly unexposed types who could make me look very very foolish for selecting them to watch. I have deliberately not put in horses like Best Mate, The Bajan Bandit, Hersov Or any other Cheltenham horse as well most people know about these anyway. SO HERE ARE THE SIx
AWAY GAME Trained by Miss HC Knight an encouraging debut, she is expected to improve this year seems likely to be aimed at Mares only Hurdles, but seems one to keep on the good side of.
BROKEN DREAM Trained by Miss HC Knight, whatever this horse achieved over hurdles was always going to be eclipsed by when he went chasing, it is possible this season may be a little early for him to fully fulfil his obvious potential, but MUST be capable of winning races, will probably be seen to better effect on good ground also.
CLOUDY CREEK Trained by Miss HC KNIGHT, having been a pont to pointer early in his career, his future was also likely to be over fences, the fact he was able to win over hurdles adds to confidence he could be useful. Unlike most of the trainers horses this one seems better suited by SOFT ground.
BOLT ACTION Trained by P.Nicholls, Ok now this one is very brave, has yet to see a racecourse but is a winning Pointer, A Must to follow when he goes chasing, although may be a Novice Hurdler this season, same owner as Viking Flagship and Shotgun Willy amongst others.
UNCLE WALLACE Trained by P.Webber. Trainer rates this his best prospect of the season expected to improve greatly now he goes Chasing, the fact he prefers this horse to several other nice prospects has convinced me to put this in.
CAPPADRUMMIN Trained by N.Henderson, A very impressive bumper winner on debut, seems certain to improve this season, will be suited by farther too, Looks a leading Prospect in Novice Hurdles this season.
Well there we go a brave 6 i hope you agree lets see how succesful/unsuccesful these 6 are.

October 26, 2002 at 14:39 #84398BROKEN DREAM is due to run at Stratford on Sunday in the 3:10 race.
He appears to have a difficult task, as he faces fiori and Java Sea, Providing the going doesn’t get too soft i do think Broken Dream could give these a race and if odds are about 6-1 i will be tempted to have a bet on.
On this occasion only a one point Suggestion

November 4, 2002 at 18:03 #84400Over The Storm trained by Miss HC Knight, this is a young horse who i really do like, i think he has the capability to go really well in the next couple of seasons
Lord Dilrock trained by Miss G Browne is a very exciting prospect, but unfortunatly injury prone. He is counted as the best horse in the smallish yard.
Jolly Hopeful trained by Charlie Morlock im afraid was one of their best prospects, he will not race again after he broke down badly.
Sorry Beax, i know this is your thread, but nowhere else to add these without starting a new thread! Hpe u dont mind and if ya do just message me!
cheers
daiesy

I see Jolly Hopeful is running today at Folkestone, Looks to have a good chance to me as its one of those races where almost anything can be considered.

November 5, 2002 at 11:57 #84402ill see beax coz im not allowed to say too much. I can say wether i like them or not, but not much nmore!
Wether The Storm should be in good form this season
Stars Out Tonight and Supreme Catch are ones to watch!!
cheers
daiesy
November 11, 2002 at 18:07 #84405Stars Out Tonight is a horse I like enormously and I’d like to think he could be very smart – a real athlete. He’ll stay 3 miles in time and although unimpressive in winning on his chase debut, he looks to have a lovely "lep" in him. All the way to the top says I.
November 17, 2002 at 19:54 #84406UNCLE WALLACE Runs at Leicester on Monday, Bow Strada looks a dangerous opponent but i expect UW to win and win well, before winning more chases

November 18, 2002 at 08:46 #84408Cloudy Creek is a real mudlark, very nice horse, i rode him the other day!
The one i have in my TTF, Foxchapel Queen, hopefully runs soon, its entered anyway. Trained by NJ Henderson
cheers
daiesy
November 18, 2002 at 10:57 #84409Yes I see Foxchapel Queen is due to run in the bumper at Exeter on friday. It looks a hot race. Further spice is added to the race though as it may be Maisey Down’s debut race.
November 23, 2002 at 18:27 #84410Some future winners:
Malaga Boy
Kings Mill
Tana River
November 25, 2002 at 12:36 #84411Supreme Catch won the other day, same day as Matey, and i think if they can keep on top of SC then he really will make a nice horse.
December 9, 2002 at 10:15 #84412Megalex trained by Georgie Browne is due to run Thursday, she is a very nice filly and we hope she will go well at Huntingdon. Marcus Foley will take the ride if he can and he got on very well with her at Hereford last time she ran where she came third.
December 13, 2002 at 20:07 #84414Good start for Over the Storm today.
Quickened nicely after the last and according to Hen may be a sun alliance horse. Now how often doesshe talk that highly of one of her horses!
December 16, 2002 at 08:37 #84417Over The Storm is a lovely horse, have only ridden him once or twice tho! But he has to be one of my faves over there!
December 28, 2002 at 11:49 #84418At Last  a winner from my 6 Bolt Action victorious at Chepstow, he remains and exceptional prospect for seasons to come. The others well as yet i havent given up hope on any of them, Away Game has yet to run not sure what has happened there, Cloudy creek, was encouraging at Taunton and will come on for the run, Broken Dream has been disappointing, but looks likely to be able to win before the seasons end, Uncle Wallace, runs today and has a tought task, however the stable has done nothing this season as yet and he IS capable of putting in a bold show today..IMO, Cappadrummin, will win this season i am certain of.
Overall not in profit yet (far from it in fact) but these horses still remain in my notebook for the time being..

December 28, 2002 at 12:05 #84419Beaks, the Webber stable has just come right over the last few days, so maybe Uncle Wallace will do better.
