<b class=”font-size-150″>A few people have mentioned this horse on this forum already.
Its a French horse only had the 3 runs but won them o so impresively. Runs in the French 2000 Guineas, which it will start strong favourite, prob win by half the track <!– s:) –>
<!– s:) –>.Billed as the next big thing.

May 11, 2012 at 17:55 #403896She’s running in the Pouliches. Her sire Deep Impact has made an excellent start at stud but has had very few runners outside Japan. Her dam won a listed race but she doesn’t have an abundance of black type relatives close up in her pedigree. She holds an entry in the Coronation Stakes but if she wins on Sunday, she will probably be aimed at the Diane. Having said that most of Deep Impact’s runners are best at 8-9f, even with broodmares whose stallions have a greater influence for stamina than Giant’s Causeway.
May 12, 2012 at 22:44 #404030Following her Prix De La Grotte win Soumillon said she shouls try the rare Diane/French Derby double last completed in 1863. Unusually this year the races are separated by two weeks so it would be nice to see her attempt it if she wins well tomorrow.
May 13, 2012 at 09:53 #404048Can’t say I was overly impressed and to be honest I don’t really like her

That was not a good race by any stretch of the imagination, the 2nd well been beaten in a listed race since.
Hard to tell how good the opposition is today but I assume it will be a bit better being a Group 1.
She’s no Zarkava IMO
May 13, 2012 at 13:54 #404064Woow! very impressive how long to the big gunners pick up some Deep Impact progeny not long imo
May 13, 2012 at 14:18 #404065Yeah did it well, Soumillon didnt have to get too serious on it.
Just a few question marks over the opposition but does look an extremely good filly in the making.
Probably come to Ascot next, should be interesting!!!!Deeman

September 29, 2012 at 16:01 #414578Wow, that was a timid effort today. Not one for me.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 29, 2012 at 16:25 #414579Too bad to be true in the Sun Chariot or it’s just possible that she has had enough…..fair play to Francome though who said she wouldn’t act on the Rowley mile.
September 29, 2012 at 17:37 #414587It is possible Johnny is right, she didn’t act on the course. But why has she been off the track for so long? Has Beauty Parlour had a physical problem? If so was she over it? Was she fit?
Silly price today, assumed Sir Henry had improved her. There were several question marks.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 29, 2012 at 20:15 #414609Agreed – it is easy to be wise after the event but I did say as much in my DLP’s thread. Her form was actually not that great when you really looked at it and she had lots of question marks to answer today not least the ground and the long lay off.
Just goes to show again that we should be careful of judging a horse just because they have won a high profile race. She had won the French Guineas but she had only beaten Up a length. Up had proven to be a better horse over further. Not dissimilar from Camelot who, though he had won a Guineas and a Derby, had beaten absolutely nothing.
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
September 29, 2012 at 22:37 #414622Reality hit head.
To think I back this horse for the Arc………….

Charles Darwin to conquer the World
September 30, 2012 at 12:42 #414678Her skin was dull and coat starting to go, she will do better next year.
October 1, 2012 at 00:20 #414751How horses are keeping/losing their coats will be important in the coming weeks Aji.
Value Is EverythingOctober 1, 2012 at 01:26 #414752Agreed Ginger and Aji..
Lot of hype leading up to this race and thought Beauty Parlour very unimpressive in the parade ring with signs of winter coat coming through. In contrast the french challenger Siyouma caught the eye immediately, a big tall filly she outshone her rivals in the paddock.
Elusive Kate extremely unlucky to spread a plate in the race, she returned to the winners enclosure sporting a taped up right hoof and a large grass mark just above it where she had almost gone down coming out of the stalls. Connections very long faced, I think she would have won without that incident. She looked pretty sore as she was led away.
