I tend to think God was an accountant
Who got his figures slightly wrong
    and that’s why old people
have to make way to get the figures right.
    Depreciation of assets and
the consequence of it – ‘ the great rubbings out ‘
need never have happened if Eve had
    been more interested in QuickBooks
than biting into that sweet apple
In consummation of her stretch targets.

If bookmakers lose the art of creation
    They will be evermore beholden
    To the beautiful silver machine.
It is silver cos Adrian took me on the tour.
    There were three of us
    Me, him and his conscience
And some say : one of those were left behind
when he finally got his coat.

Hawkwind had a silver machine that made them a lot of dosh as well. So this looks to be the way forward.

I’m off to Ebay to find my fortune.

    Good thinking Tank
There are more millionaires on Ebay
than in all the cars lined up
In Lingfield car park on a wet all weather weekend.
Real silver rather than false Go!d.

flatcapgamble…apologies to all the mathematicians – but some things in a bookie’s satchel are incalculable.

    Good article Simon.

I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highways
