Colin Stagg clearly murdered Rachel Nickell because he was dodgy and happened to live nearby.

I wouldn’t like to comment clivex, without knowing the crucial details of the case.
Are Mr Stagg’s eyes too close together, and – more importantly – is he a Jambo??

Clivex, a "Jambo" is a name given to one who supports Heart of Midlothian FC (you know, one of those ghastly Scottish football teams, insert your own trite stereotype here as I can’t be arsed).
Also, as someone who also knew a member of the CID, I can vouch for Grass’s claims re; the Mitchell case- the Polis wouldn’t hear of it being anyone else, for reasons I’m not going to go into.

Maybe you know the same person in CID and, instead of a second opinion, merely have heard the same opinion twice, if you know what I mean!
Nonetheless CID seem pretty mouthy to me!
