I was watching a clip on youtube earlier where Curley and Mc were havng a heated discussion after a horse of Curleys that drifted like a barge in the betting was pulled up.
Anyway at some stage in it Curley says i once saved your bacon to Mc Cririck and it’s the quietest i’ve ever seen him go.
Pardon my ignorance but does anyone know what this is about?Was Mc cririck in on 1 of Barneys big 1’s or what?

Not related but Hughesie was riding a winner for Barney when he got the suspension which ended his challenge for the jockeys title. Bad karma or what?

McCririck champions himself as the punters pal as regards horse racing but hes a cock pure and simple as regards that sphere. He is much better suited to greyhound racing which he knows plenty about (moreso than the gee gees!!) Ive no doubt Barney got him outta trouble as hes a failed punter and bookie!!!!
