Himself… £5.50! Where do you live? Might be worth me driving there! Clippers? Mmmmm…Good idea if you are a bit short of hair and want to disguise fact with a grade 1 all over. Me? I have a fair head of hair, though a fair few are grey now and I don’t want to look like Phil Mitchell. So clippers are no good for me at the moment
December 31, 2009 at 19:50 #266763You’re all being done, no wonder none of you think some jockeys are overpaid
There was a guy featured on Look North West the other week who had been a barber for about 65 years and was charging 3 quid. Mind you I wouldn’t be risking it the way he was shaking when they showed him in action.
I’ll have to make do with the 4 quid plus tip I currently pay.December 31, 2009 at 21:10 #266782Nothing wrong with clippers. If you like to shave your head then you’re better off buying your own. I’ve got one and i don’t have a receding hair line.
December 31, 2009 at 22:28 #266796If you are in the enfield Highway area, I can recommend Bekirs on the Hertford Road. Does an excellent job for under a tenner. Just up from the White Horse and the Coral Shop before you get to Turkey Street.
January 3, 2010 at 01:53 #267286£5 where I go, Franks Barbers in Oadby (where Leicester Racecourse is), and he does an excellent job every time! Also quite an interesting place due to all the rugby memorabilia around (several of Franks customers are Leicester Tigers and England rugby players).
