JWM is up after the fall. Thank goodness.
March 16, 2022 at 13:41 #1587561Delighted at that news.
There was no knocking that performance well done Mike.March 16, 2022 at 13:43 #1587563Taking a hold throughout Sir G is better than the winning distances suggest.
Value Is EverythingMarch 16, 2022 at 13:43 #1587564Thanks Sam.
March 16, 2022 at 13:43 #1587565Impressive display. Never really settled either.
Arkle, Turners or Brown Advisery next season. He could probably win any of them.March 16, 2022 at 13:44 #1587567If I was an in running punter I’d have been laying sir gerhard for plenty pulling like that
If Constitution hill does stay over hurdles I think he is a very strong contender for the arkle
Delighted JWM is ok
March 16, 2022 at 13:45 #1587569He class got him through plus he put the staying bit to bed , im currently hugging my 7s slips lovingly , wonder where Mullins will go next year , he may have to go jumping with CH about , plus he hasn’t got a vintage bunch of novice chasers
March 16, 2022 at 13:53 #1587575Mullins was speculating on RTV that he is a Champion Hurdle horse.
Good luck with that project. Constitution Hill will laugh at him.
March 16, 2022 at 14:11 #1587595Personally I would go Champion Hurdle – everybody was worried that he had far too much speed for today’s trip and should have been running in the Supreme, he absolutely tanked the whole way through the race on ground closer to heavy (20sec slow) than the official soft and still had plenty left judging by him pricking his ears on the run in.
I think he is crying out for better ground and 2m, you can’t be afraid of one horse as nobody knows what next season will hold as to who will even turn up in the Champion Hurdle.
It was under entirely different conditions to be sure but to me he was equally as impressive as CH was in yesterday’s Supreme.
March 16, 2022 at 14:15 #1587597Was his tongue in his cheek …. Surely he was having a giggle after dodging him yesterday
March 16, 2022 at 14:24 #1587604I’d take what Mullins says with a pinch of salt. Take this season for example, Ferny Hollow, Galopin Des Champs, Blue Lord and even Appreciate also was supposed to go novice chasing no doubt because he didn’t fancy taking on Honeysuckle.
After seeing Constitution Hills demolition job yesterday, I think Sir Gerhard is nailed on for novice chasing next season. - AuthorPosts
