Anyone have any ideas when this is this year. Its usually about this time but have heard nothing of it this year. Surely can’t have slipped under the radar.
April 10, 2008 at 07:33 #157218Not happening.
April 10, 2008 at 08:09 #157221Taken from The Daily Mail 6th April
LEADING trainer Aidan O’Brien normally has a media day at his Ballydoyle stables around this time to preview his hopes for the Flat season. But it’s unlikely to take place, with O’Brien still furious at the Racing Post for printing his hesitant answers verbatim, after asking him about jockey Kieren Fallon’s future with his yard after the High Court race-fixing case against him collapsed.
April 10, 2008 at 11:31 #157237Bit of a shame really, its usually quite interesting, hopefully the information should gradually feed through anyway.
O’brien should know he can’t avoid the media forever, not when his words are adverts for the stud potential of horses his employers are trying to sell.
April 15, 2008 at 08:39 #157847I was under the impression that it was on this week.
April 15, 2008 at 08:52 #157850Thank you once again Lee Smuttershead, how this guy is still allowed to write for the trade paper is beyond me. His inside special on Sunday exemplifies the extent of his capabilities.
April 15, 2008 at 09:28 #157852What was he on about this time, Richard?
April 15, 2008 at 10:22 #157864Sean I don’t think Ratpack is Richard as he posts under his own name in this forum and also that post does not seem his usual style.
April 15, 2008 at 11:41 #157878ratpack is his BF forum name.
He has posted this info on this forum previously in case anyone thinks I’m "outing" him!
April 15, 2008 at 12:06 #157883Who is Richard?

As I have stated before on here, I am not Richard Hoiles, and as blue chariot alluded to it would not be Richard Hoiles style to slate a fellow member of the press/media nor very prudent to be seen to be doing so I’d imagine!! I have no connection to Richard in any way shape or form, but I for one think he is one of the better guys out there on both the commentary and punditry scene.
In response to what LM’s column on Sunday was about, it was sensationalising the fact that Jamie Spencer and Francesca Cumani are the faces of racing promoting Harvey Nicholls ladies evening this summer at Haydock.
April 15, 2008 at 21:18 #157991The RP are carrying an interview with AOB tomorrow where he discusses his prospects for teh season to come.

Cheers Corm, good drills…

Why is Jamie Spencer promoting Ladies evening? Wouldn’t his wife been better?
April 15, 2008 at 21:41 #157999Wasn’t exactly a drill Bul – front page splash on their website!
